We are searching for a Store Manager to join our team!

You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the retail sales and operations team. The individual selected for this position will heavily involved in and provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service on a daily basis to provide a positive shopping experience. The Store Manager is also responsible for the total operations of the store and performs various duties personally or though supervision of the store employees.

Key Responsibilities included, but not limited to:

Overall management responsibility for operation of retail grocery store, including store performance, control cash, budget, purchasing, inventory/security, customer service and management staff.

Focus on positive customer service/satisfaction experience and ensure that employees provide customers with superior customer service through the use of best practices and communication of the importance of positive shopping experience.

Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency. Train and evaluate employees. Track, analyze and take action to improve store performance by forecasting of weekly/daily sales goals and meeting or exceeding establish goals. Communicate sales goals, department performance and sales opportunities. Consistent review of shrink and out of stocks with staff to ensure positive results.

Forecast, create schedule, and monitor labor to be consistent with store sales, productivity guidelines and wage budgets: create action plan to address cost control issues.

Ensure store appearance is maintained to company standards



  • Store Management experience and/or Assistant Store Management experience, including experience in a perishable, grocery, and/or big box retail store, is strongly preferred.
  • Must have experience managing people, multi-departments, and store/unit.
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with scheduling, retail front-end/office management, ordering, inventory management, payroll administration, P&L analysis, project management, and human resource management.
  • Must be willing/able to work required retail hours.
  • Knowledge of employment law, interviewing techniques and procedures, and general retail hiring practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership/team building and organizational skills.
  • Must be willing to comply with company policies and meet/exceed standards.
